- suivi des l'omniprésence d'Eileen dans les pensées du jeune homme (plaques 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12 et 14).
Les plaques 6 et 10 sont à voir en aparté étant des illustrations précises d'un vers du chant : « The ocean blue waters wash by the shore Of that dear land of Shamrock, were thou doth abide » et la reprise du refrain de la chanson.
